PHINDER: A study to find ways to detect Pulmonary Hypertension earlier in patients with Interstitial Lung Disease

(IRB#: IRB_00169643)

Having interstitial lung disease (ILD) puts a person at a higher risk for a condition called pulmonary hypertension (PH). Pulmonary hypertension is high blood pressure in the blood vessels that supply the lungs, which in turn can put a strain on the heart. The study will evaluate the best tests to screen for pulmonary hypertension in patients with interstitial lung disease. The study wants to see the most effective screening tests, promote awareness, and encourage screening. Being in the study requires up to 28 days with several visits to the study clinic. Medical tests will be done during the study to track the health of participants.
